Intro:

The PG-FW is a gravimetric single-screw feeder built for free-flowing resin granules, pellets and regrind blends. It continuously measures the loss of weight in the hopper and adjusts screw speed through closed-loop PID control, keeping dosing accurate and stable in extrusion, compounding and masterbatch production.

Features:

• Cantilever sling-type weigh frame with the load cell mounted on the top beam, above the feeder‘s centre of gravity; it collects vertical force only, damping vibration and rejecting horizontal interference for a cleaner weight signal.

• Servo feeding motor with planetary reducer — light, low-vibration, constant torque at low speed; the usable flow range is roughly twice that of an ordinary AC motor.

• Independent stirring and feeding drives with separately adjustable speed prevent bridging (PG-FW-25 uses a combined agitator linked to feed speed at a fixed ratio).

• Speed-PID control with an auxiliary time mode manages start/stop and two-machine alternate operation.

• Detachable, pull-out design — the output bearing seat, screw and seal pull straight out of the hopper for fast cleaning and maintenance.

• Self-learning control: during start-up the controller identifies material bulk density and flowability, then self-tunes and continuously optimises the PI values for fast response.

• Anti-interference logic recognises the strength and duration of a disturbance and switches to an emergency backup routine to keep output stable.

• Ethernet / remote-control interface reserved (PROFIBUS-DP, Profinet and Modbus RTU optional).

• Choice of spiral (spring) screw or solid single screw to suit the material.
