Intro:

The PG-FL gravimetrically meters and injects liquid additives — including difficult, high-viscosity or temperature-sensitive liquids such as maleic anhydride, silane and DOP — directly into extrusion, compounding and cable-compound processes. It is delivered as a complete, ready-to-connect metering-and-spray system on a single skid; the "H" versions add heating for materials that must be kept fluid.

Features

Precision weighing & control

• Cantilever sling-type weigh frame with top-beam load cell damps vibration and rejects horizontal interference for accurate liquid-flow measurement.

• RS-485 digital transmission of weighing data — no signal attenuation and strong anti-interference over the cable run.

• Self-learning PI control identifies the liquid‘s behaviour during start-up and continuously optimises control for fast, stable response; automatic anti-interference backup protects dosing during disturbances.

• Dynamic accuracy ±0.5%, with minimum weight sensitivity down to 0.1 g on the small models.

Difficult liquids & heating (H version)

• Proven on hard-to-handle materials — maleic anhydride, silane, DOP, DCP, mineral oil and antioxidants — backed by years of design and manufacturing experience.

• Integrated heating system: a mould-temperature controller provides circulating hot-water heating, while the weigh tank uses electric thermal-oil heating so the heating circuit never introduces weighing interference. Water or electric heat tracing and explosion-proof configuration are selectable.

Complete metering-to-spray system

• Supplied as a complete set: liquid LIW feeder + connecting piping + spray gun, ready to integrate.

• Refill (replenishment) tank with refill valve — and the refill tank is itself mounted on load cells and weighed.

• Pump choice to suit the liquid: hydraulic diaphragm pump, plunger pump or gear pump.

• Fully isolated SUS304 bellows-welded, spring-damped spray gun keeps line pressure stable for 24 hours; holds pressure when the pump stops, with automatic low-pressure cut-off and high-pressure relief.

• Solid-cone spray pattern, uniform and continuous, with a selectable 45°–120° diffusion angle; flow can be fine-adjusted directly at the gun down to a fine mist.

Wetted materials & fluid handling

• Pump head and check (non-return) valves are 316L stainless steel; all other wetted parts are SUS304.

• Drain/return circuits on both the weigh tank and the refill tank.

• A pressure safety valve at the pump outlet with a relief line routed back to the pump inlet.

• A separate sampling / pressure-relief circuit at the pump outlet for safe sampling.

Electrical, safety & connectivity (CE-grade cabinet)

• All external signals — PLC inputs and weighing communications — are routed through galvanic isolation modules.

• Cabinet and all electrical components are CE certified.

• PLC is engineered with at least 20% spare capacity (I/O and memory headroom).

• Main disconnect and control-power switch are both operated by mechanical handles on the cabinet door.

• USB storage of key operating parameters — recipes/parameters can be downloaded, exported and saved in Excel format.

• Built-in network switch enables remote diagnostics and remote program modification when required.
